EXPLORE: Oklahoma Healthcare Summit
This year PLICO hosted the first ever EXPLORE: Oklahoma Healthcare Summit, and it was a huge success! The Summit was focused on helping medical professionals to succeed in the ever-changing healthcare industry. Up to 14 continuing medical education credits were available through daily breakout sessions and timely keynote addresses. We had the pleasure of listening to:
- Governor Mary Fallin, John Doak, Insurance Commissioner and T.W. Shannon, Speaker Designate spoke on the State of Oklahoma Healthcare
- Fraud expert and subject of the book Catch Me If You Can, Frank Abagnale
- Business Innovation Expert, Chris Trimble
- Futurist, Dr. Lowell Catlett
The Summit featured two networking events. The first was an EXPO Opening Reception sponsored by Eide Bailly. The St. Anthony EXPO featured 60 exhibitors that played a complimentary role in providing an interesting and cutting-edge learning experience, including a Technology Pavilion sponsored by Verizon. The second networking event was an incredible party at the Devon Boathouse hosted by BancFirst. We had a wonderful time and hope all of the attendees did as well.
